Solomon Asante

Solomon Asante is a Ghanaian international winger and forward from Kumasi. He is one of the first names on the Ash Gold list — a proven professional and a reference point for the inaugural attack.

He came through Feyenoord Ghana, then played in Burkina Faso, Ghana, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo with TP Mazembe. In the United States he became a star at Phoenix Rising: club captain, all-time leader in goals and assists, and USL Championship MVP in both 2019 and 2020 — the first player to win that award in consecutive seasons.

Later stops included Indy Eleven, Las Vegas Lights, and Texoma FC. He also won Ghana Player of the Year in 2017. At Ash Gold he gives the 2026 side a wide threat, a final-ball standard, and a dressing-room voice that has already won at a high level.
