The story
Julio Cervantes is on the Ash Gold FC matchday staff for the club’s first UPSL season. His work sits in organization, shape, and getting new players onto the same page quickly.
With a first team in Premier and Ash Gold FC II in Division 1, the coaching group has to develop and compete at the same time. Cervantes is part of that week-to-week structure — training, set pieces, and conference travel.
The 2026 staff is still taking shape around the inaugural roster. His brief is simple: a side that looks like Ash Gold — organized, direct when it needs to be, and hard to play against in KY-TN.
